This sparkling alcoholic beverage sowed its seed in the mind of the Priyanka Save in the year 2010 but the product was officially launched in the market in Jan 2017. Priyanka comes from a farming background and having a chikoo farm at home she saw the fruit not being used extensively and there was a lot of wastage. After experimenting with a lot of things they finally zeroed on the idea of wine. She started with a full-fledged winery, which also happens to be first-of-its-kind in the entire world to produce alcoholic beverages from Sapota (commercially known as Chikoo fruit) Post making alco-Bev from Chikoo Fruzzanté started with making alcoholic beverages from Pineapple, Strawberry, Starfruit, Mango and soon to be launched Orange Fruzzanté.
With the expansion in the fore last year Fruzzanté went for rebranding, to cater to their younger audience who are now evolving and shifting preferences from age-old cocktails to fresher drinks and local flavors. Fruzzanté as a brand is now exploring “The Ready to drink” segment more aggressively for which they roped in Mr. Deepak Bhatnagar (Ex-director of Sula Wines) this year in May 2020.
Goa gets Fruzzanté and since its launch in March, the brand has received a warm welcome and positive acceptance. The company recently launched all its five variants namely Pineapple, Mango, Chikoo, Starfruit, and Strawberry, with a tasting event at the Grand Hyatt, Goa, on 25th March 2020. Fruzzanté products can be brought from retail stores in Goa and also some dine-in places.
